Addison Players present "Saint Joan"

 George Bernard Shaw's play "Saint Joan" was presented in the Lucy Addison Auditorium. Just before the opening curtain, Connie Johnson Hamlar, Dramatics Instructor and Play Director, presented cast members with personalized notes of encouragement including the one pictured above given to me, Thomas (Butch) Dudley, as a sophomore playing the part of Archbishop de Stogumber. The quote is one of the lines spoken to de Stogumber during the play. A good luck penny was taped to the inside of the folded note.  Senior Patricia Moore '59 starred in the role of Saint Joan.
